Favored spot has been our preferred location to go, you know, just my friends and me. We’re enthusiastic about sampling their interesting dishes. It’s always exciting to see what new delicacies they’ve thought up since last we visited. This time, I’ll share with you about a few of the dishes from favored spot that we really enjoy and where we learned about them.
1. Our Favorite Breakfasts
Their breakfasts are renowned. My top choice is this excellent avocado toast.
It’s got this fresh, mature avocado completely mashed on grilled sourdough with an egg on top and a small taste of chili. It’s simple but perfectly satisfying. And let’s not forget the scrambled omelets combined with roasted tomatoes and with spinach – it’s wonderful! The eggs have a fluffy texture and the roasted tomatoes introduce a sweet flavor that’s just wonderful.
2. The Good Old Salads
Their salads are delicious. I love the grilled chicken salad.
The chicken’s tender and moist, and the salad’s has a crisp texture. The Caesar salad dressing is the best part, intense and flavorful. And don’t get me started on the avocado black bean salad – it’s a revolutionary dish. It’s a avocado blend, black bean, corn kernel, and cherry tomato that’s perfect for a meal that’s lightweight but very satisfying.
3. The Signature Sandwiches
Their sandwiches are always a hit. The turkey avocado BLT is a must-have.
The turkey’s perfectly smoked, the avocado adds a creamy taste, and the bacon’s crisp. The fresh lettuce. Another winner is the grilled chicken avocado BLT – same as the turkey sandwich, but with chicken.
4. The Sweet Stuff
Sweet Things? You can’t miss the chance at First Watch. I’m all for that lemon pie. The the pie has this crispy, rich crust and the lemon curd is deliciously sweet and slightly sour.
Another delightful dessert that I love is this sea salt and caramel dark chocolate tart. Dark chocolate and caramel combination – it’s a success consistently.
5. The Cool Drinks
They’ve got all sorts of cool cocktails. I’m loving this First Watch’s Moscow Mule.
It’s a blend of vodka, ginger ale, and crisp lime juice, served in this attractive copper mug. It’s like a refreshing experience on a sunny day. And then there’s the First Watch’s Manhattan cocktail. It’s like an traditional cocktail with a slight modification, made with self-made sweet vermouth.
